Dear Sir,
We are going to develop a GUI Application which will take the multiple GPS
input and have to display the Multiple GPS positions on the map within 2km
range.
Map can be raster or vector.
One GPS attached physically, it will give the self position. Remaining all
GPS units connected via radios within 5km range.

GPS Application requirements as follows: -

1. Creating a GUI Application
2. GIS Functions to be followed:
      a. Capture of Data
      b. Storing the Data
      c. Querying the Data
      d. Analyzing the Data
      e. Output
      f. Representing the Data with Raster and Vector Models
      g. Display
3. Types of Data
     a) Attribute Data
Eg: - Name, text, images, sound etc.
     b) Spatial Data
        i) Co-ordinate based
ii) Vector Data =96 discrete features:
               =95 Points
               =95 Lines
               =95 Polygons(zones or areas)
        iii) Raster Data
               =95 A continuous surface

4. Geographic Data properties
            =95 Projection
            =95 Scale
            =95 Accuracy
            =95 Resolution
5. Adding the Vector/Raster Layers
6. GPS Self position with latitude/longitude on the Map

   1. *GPS+radio is connected Physically with any serial port to GIS
      Application*
      2. *Capture the GPS Data using NMEA protocol to display the position
      on the map with latitude/longitude.*
      3. *Generally GPS position will give the + or - 50 meters error on th=
e
map, to eliminate this errors we can use Smoothing filters.*

7. Multiple GPS positions display on the Map

Thanks & Regards
