SQL 22001 identify column *N?

I've inherited a SQL UDF that uses JSON_TABLE to parse JSON payloads.  The
JSON is very large and consists of deeply nested key-value pairs.
Occasionally, I encounter a 22001 that column *N is truncated.  Is there
any way (short of trial and error) of identifying the column?
