Hi all,

we are a company from Germany, and we we're quite excited about IBM Bob and the Premium Package for i. As the topic is a bit sensitive, I don't want to name the company I work for or the IBM business partner involved.

We immediately ordered an Enterprise subscription for IBM Bob when is was available via our business partner. We ordered 7 seats and 1.000 Bobcoins - and we are invoiced like that (all prices excluding VAT):

- 320 EUR per user per year
=> ~30 USD per user/month vs. the 20 USD announced.

- 660 EUR for 1000 IBM Bobcoins for 1 year
=> ~750 USD vs. the 500 USD that were announced.

Next step - we want the Premium Package for i - also 7 seats - and the quote looks like that:

- 530 EUR per user for 10 months (probably to sync both subscriptions)
=> ~60 USD per user/month vs. the 40 USD announced.

So it seems our prices are round about +50% to the announced prices.

And now we ask ourselves:

- Are these prices normal?
- What do you pay in the US for Enterprise subscriptions?
- Do we have extra-high prices in Europe? (+50%)
- Or are we getting ripped of by our business partner?
- What are the individual prices in Europe?

Thanks for your help.

Kind regards,
Daniel
