Hi I found the message in the GNUPIC archive. However the

a lot. Perl-USb, that is pretty cool. There is a Python
wrapper for libusb as well and Mark Rages is using it
for the pickit-devel project.

Still you may want to look at fsusb by Rick Luddy.
