You could trial safe range by mounting PIC at various distances. And then you could run wiring to PIC in new position. Ib any case, ensure PIC interface is adequately RF bypassed. And maybe add extra filtering to garage door supply. Desperation: :-) - Opto / IR link door to PIC then RF from PIC to house. Russell
