That makes more than one of us, especially when it is one of Russells 'deep dives' that can use up a lot of reading time. I started reading it in either 1999 or 2000. I can also claim to be the person that caused Olin Lathrop to publish his development environment in full. Originally he had published snippets to the Piclist (and possibly elsewhere), but when I tried to use the examples he had posted it was obvious there were significant chunks missing When I came back with queries he put the whole lot up for download on his business website. I see it is still getting updated, although now on Github. https://github.com/OlinLathrop?tab=overview&from=2025-12-01&to=2025-12-31 I have a whole heap of "useful" documents and links squirrelled away from items posted to the PIClist, and would like to thank all those who have contributed, moderated, and generally kept the list on track and useful. Unfortunately I can see the PIClist slowly dying as old hands retire and young blood entering the embedded world go with templates and high level languages, not understanding the underlying hardware.
