In my experience Eclipse, in conjuction with TiniAnt lends itself better to
this.
+ you can legally use it for commercial systems for free.
TiniAnt has a large number of options and configurations that you can pass
to the converter in an xml file to
really control you input/output.
The EMAC SOM Distribution offers this feature pre-integrated into Eclipse.
