native driver for P5.4?

Im writing a native driver for controlling some external component. This
component is connected to P5.4, P5.5, P5.6, P5.7 and P3.7(other pins are
in use for other things). When I try to toggle the Pins on P5(090h), the
pins wont toggle? when I try the same code on pin 1 of P1(0A1h) it
works, the pin P1.1 toggles.
How can I toggle pins on port 5?
