Hi all. Just wondering if someone here has ever considered a more specific chip for energy measurement. i.e. ADE7755. Analog Devices has some been used on millions of energy meter applications. Seems an interesting approach to someone considering to design/deploy mid-to-large scale. Or just for fun :) http://products.analog.com/products/info.asp?product=ADE7755 http://products.analog.com/products/info.asp?product=ADE7757 Notice no hall effect required for current measurement. And a DS2423 interface sounds a natural one. Any insider? Comments? Best Regards, Claro. Claro Noda. IMRE-Physics Faculty.
