Dear Barry - Look at this attached file for TINI "Time Server" stuff as tini_nts_stuff.zip There are three folders within the zip that should do the trick for you as various examples. Especially look at TiniTim. TiniTim is pure Java implementation of three Time servers for the Dallas Semiconductor TINI single board computer. The services provided are: DayTime (RFC 867) TCP and UDP services Time (RFC 868) TCP and UDP services Simple Network Time Protocol (RFC 2030) UDP service In addition a very simple HTTP server is provided to display the status of the TINI itself and of the time services running. Best regards, Kelly Smith >>> I sent the attachemnet to Barry WITHOUT burdening the tini list. I'll keep the stuff "active" in my "temp" directory for a few day in case anyone else wants this. Let us no how it goes for you Barry! -----Original Message----- From: tini-admin-6tN4nzCoH/[email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of Barry Demchak Sent: Friday, March 26, 2004 1:43 PM To: TINI Mailing List Subject: [TINI]Network Time Protocol (RFC2030) Hi -- Does anyone have a working NTP client package (for setting the time of day from a public time server)? I have been working with NtpConnection, but it doesn't want to work on Tini 1.11. Before I dive into why, it occurs to me to ask to see if there's anything already available. ?? vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv : Barry Demchak : : Torrey Pines Software, Inc. : : http://www.tpsoft.com/ : : (858) 452-8700 : ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ _______________________________________________ TINI mailing list TINI-6tN4nzCoH/[email protected] To UNSUBSCRIBE, edit your profile, or see list archives: http://lists.dalsemi.com/mailman/listinfo/tini _______________________________________________ TINI mailing list TINI-6tN4nzCoH/[email protected] To UNSUBSCRIBE, edit your profile, or see list archives: http://lists.dalsemi.com/mailman/listinfo/tini
