Hi,

I am using DS80C390 and using its port 5 pins to interface to seeprom :
AT24C256 . Tini is supposed to read data on this serial prom. On the
complete system ,there is PIC controller which is writing data on this
seeprom. The clock and data pins are shared and only one will acess the
seeprom at a time . This access logic will be controlled by another io pin
handshake signals.

Right now i am not able to read data form this seeprom. The PIC controller
is not writng data on this . with respect to the hardware , what has been
informed is the ground of tini and seeprom ground are diffrent. I guess
,this should be the problem. Is it correct ?

Can anybody explain the pro and cons of such situation ?

regards,
sharmila
