Applet Reads Data from TINI'S serial port ?

Hii all,
I want to make a JAVA applet (or something like that) that reads data from
TINI's serial port and displays it on the WEB page. This web page will  run
on the TINI.
IS IT POSSIBLE, OR NOT?
