Tynamo 1.0 is as bullet-proof as it can possibly get (Shawn Silverman's
Tynamo runs for MONTHS, on my applications running multiple applications.
PERIOD, and 'nuf said on that.  Sooo...

That leads to a glitch, noisy power supply, a power supply that is
inadequate for the load, or the serial link code application is FUBAR.

(1) Get a bench supply that is rock-solid at around 9 VDC at 1 Ampere or
more and verify if the problem is with the power supply that you were
previously using.  Most problems seem to stem for these rinky-dink wall-wart
9 volt supplies with a puny 300mA output. Some get the job done (the one
from Systronix is fine (or THEY would not sell it).  You might want to
consider a good power outlet strip that has filters for the AC line on it
also.

(2) Now the hard part... is the serial application code, YOUR java code?
Start attempting to "instrument" the code;  this is a valuable tool:

Drop this in to your serial I/O application someplace, where it will get
"hit" (execute)occasionally... This does use up memory though (take it out
later!).

(3) Try NOT running with Tynamo (if you can)... the problem is not with
Tynamo, but it does use a good size chunk of RAM if you have ALL of the
features for 1-Wire servlets configured.

(4) Have a buddy do a design review and code analysis (peer review), on your
code.

Hi,
I get this error with just a serial link to my project.
The system restores to its default state, and all programs erased. It
happens occationally, but without warning, any help? Please Explain NVRAM
Battery Voltage.
The board is powered to spec. blastHeapOnReboot() is not called by my
program. I run Tynamo in parrallel though, so I'm unsure where the fault
lies.

Two ideas:

1. Check the NVRAM battery voltage
2. Verify that TINIOS.blastHeapOnReboot() is not being called in your
application.
