If figured out what this problem was to some extent. I found this page:
http://www.systronix.com/tinistik/appnotes/hello_tstik.html and it said that
I had to copy the tstik_spi_native_method_config.tlib to my tini. I wasn't
sure where but I assumed it was the same directory as my .tini file. I
created a test program:

import com.systronix.tstik.*;

public class ConfigRegisterTest {
	public static void main(String[] args) {
		ConfigRegister cr = ConfigRegister.getInstance();
		System.out.println(cr.getCanOrI2c());
		cr.setCanOrI2c(ConfigRegister.I2C);
	}
}

and uploaded it to /bin/ConfigRegisterTest.tini on my Tini. I then uploaded
tstik_spi_native_method_config.tlib to my /bin folder also. I tried running
my program (java ConfigRegisterTest.tini) both using telnet and using
serial. I don't get the same error as when I didn't have the
tstik_spi_native_method_config.tlib file, but I get this error now:

java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError
   in com.systronix.tstik.ConfigRegister.setCanOrI2c(@JPC=a001f)
   in java.lang.System.???

Is there something I am forgetting to do??

On another note, you have to be in the folder that your program is (when
your using something that needs tstik_spi_native_method_config.tlib) when
you run your program. For example, if your program was installed in
/bin/programname.tini and the tstik_spi_native_method_config.tlib is
installed in the same directory (/bin/tstik_spi_native_method_config.tlib),
then you have to be change directory from / to /bin before you can execute
"java programname.tini". I think that it tries to find the
tstik_spi_native_method_config.tlib in the current directory.

Thanks in advance!!

Subject: [TINI]ConfigRegister class for TSilk

Hey list,

I just compiled a program that uses the ConfigRegister class that is used to
change settings on the Systronix TSilk. I was able to get the program
compiled to a .tini file, but when I ran the program (that implemented the
ConfigRegister class) it crashed says this:

Unable to load/initialize library:Unable to load
tstik_spi_native_method_config.tlib
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Unable to load
tstik_spi_native_method_config.tlib
   in java.lang.Throwable.???
   in java.lang.Throwable.<init>(@JPC=90004)
   in java.lang.Error.<init>(@JPC=90003)
   in java.lang.LinkageError.<init>(@JPC=90003)
   in java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError.<init>(@JPC=90003)
   in java.lang.System.gc(@JPC=80130049)
   in com.systronix.tstik.ConfigRegister.<init>(@JPC=6)
   in com.systronix.tstik.ConfigRegister.getInstance(@JPC=9000a)
   in Hvac.Initialize(@JPC=1f0003)
   in java.lang.System.???

How or where do I put or use this file so that when I compile it will not
have this problem??

Thanks!!
Joel Rowley
