Hi,

1.) Yes, only a network cable, but that depends of course, if you got a 
DHCP and how many computers do you want to connect to how many 
connection plugs?
That seems to me the one good reason for using a switch when using a 
tini with a dhcp!
2.) you have to configure it like it is described in chapter two of the 
"Tini Specification"

It is very easy and should be done in half an hour properly (maybe in 
worst case 1 hour, depends on how fast you read :-)).
