The CRC is a CRC16 using a software routine.  I suspect a possible data 
memory fetch error.  It could be a stuck address/data problem, or a 
memory timing problem.  This same CRC check is done on the slush image 
before slush starts.  Do you ever see a CRC failure when slush starts?
