I have not seen a CRC failure when slush starts. I have rebooted many times. I did find a problem with the ALE signal. Normally this signal looks like a clock signal, but I have some brief irregular shaped pulses bouncing around on a little less than 3VDC. I have the ALE pin loaded with 10K ohms to gnd, as close as possible to the micro. I am not sure how an incorrect ALE signal results in the error message that I have. I would expect nothing to work correctly as it would be likely that many memory fetches would fail during other processes. I was hoping the error message would indicate a certain address range or hardware device. I believe my problem is on the address bus most likely. I guess it could also be internal to the micro or something unexpected with my memory ICs. Thanks for any ideas. I suspect a possible data memory fetch error. It could be a stuck address/data problem, or a memory timing problem. This same CRC check is done on the slush image before slush starts. Do you ever see a CRC failure when slush starts? -- -- Bryan Armstrong bryan.armstrong-6tN4nzCoH/[email protected] _______________________________________________ TINI mailing list TINI-6tN4nzCoH/[email protected] To UNSUBSCRIBE, edit your profile, or see list archives: http://lists.dalsemi.com/mailman/listinfo/tini
