I'll answer my own question, yes it does fix the problem. Anyone using a
Tstik should be aware that they need to rebuild the SPI config register
native method for 1.13.

Subject: DataPort Class

Hi everyone,

Now I have data in my flash (on a TStik), I want to be able to read it out.
>From reading previous threads it would seem like using the DataPort class
would be the ideal solution. But digging a bit further back in the archives
it would seem that the DataPort class has some hidden address restrictions
that prevent reading anywhere useful. I haven't upgraded to 1.13 yet, is
this fixed in this revision? I know Shawn Silverman was asking and Bryan
Armstrong suggested that it would be.

Thanks,

Andy Page,
