within mcf54455 ltib directory do:
 
./ltib -p kernel -m prep        (This will check out source and apply
target specific patches indicated by the spec file)
./ltib -p kernel -m scbuild    (This will build the kernel)
./ltib -p kernel -m scdeploy (This will populate the root file system)
 
Also, in the ISO image of the LTIB package, there exists a
/help/software directory  
 
That shows all of the steps required to build the kerenel using the menu
system.  (Really will provide the end result of the steps above, but
will allow you to configure root file system, and kernel)

Hi All

 

I have started with the MCF54455 I am using VMware to compile and build
to get the U-boot out so that I can edit it make changes I used 

./ltib -p u-boot -m prep this takes the u-boot source tree out of the
PKGS

./ltib -m scbuild -p u-boot Builds U-BOOT

./ltib -m scdeploy -p u-boot copy's back to make official

 

I am looking for the command or name of the linix image files to do the
same with it. Dose any one have any idea what it may be and is there a
document that explains this with a step by step procedure.
