RE: QADC continuous scan mode...

Any read of the QADC result register will give valid data for the previous
QADC operation. Only when a QADC operation has fully completed is it
written to the result register and this is done as an atomic operation, ie
it will never overlap with a read.

Subject: [MPC500] QADC continuous scan mode...

I am operating my QADC software triggered continuous scan mode. The MPC555
user
manual states that "software can read a result value at any time." My
question is, wouldn't
you need to check the status register before you read the value in the
result register to
make sure that the value you're reading isn't the one currently being
updated? Sorry for
the newbie question, I'm new to this stuff. Thanks!
