Sansanka, I now understand better what your are trying to do. As you will see in my code, I *conditonnaly* load the TPU code into DTPRAM, because I think that once in emulation mode, the DPTRAM cannot anymore be accessed by the PowerPC core, so DTPRAM update becomes impossible, and otherwise raises a PwoerpC exception... So I you want to load TPU code as a S19 file you should first apply a hard reset to the MPC chip. Could a TPU guru give his advice on this matter ;-) Jean-Christophe MATHAE CIRTEM http://www.cirtem.com bâtiment la Pointe Bleue 20, voie l'Occitane BP661 31319 LABEGE cedex France -----Message d'origine----- De : G.V.Sasanka [mailto:[email protected]] Envoyé : mardi 3 mai 2005 19:16 à : Jean-Christophe MATHAE Objet : RE: [MPC500] Regarding TPU emulation Hi Jean, I have actually tried to download S19 file in debug mode and then ran the program...I have failed in this process and in between i have come across memcpy option I thought that is essential so used even that but still i failed.... My logic is ....Download the S19 file...in debug mode into RAM..and in program set RAMBAR to 0xffa0...then set tpu parameters apart from setting TPU to emulation mode...in this context I wanna get it clarified should I set EMU bit after setting priority bit to channel? I hope I am succesful in explaing you..Kindly donot mind for troubling you bye sasanka Messenger Now ----------------------------------------------------------- To learn more about Freescale Microcontrollers, please visit http://www.freescale.com/mcu Yahoo!
