RE: TPU emulation problem

If you set the emulation bit of the TPU and haven't downloaded any code, then the TPU has no program that it can execute.
 
also, see one of the previous emails sent to you on this list for how to load the DPTRAM from a program:

list 2 in section 5.2 shows an example of loading the DPTRAM.

Hi,
I am working with MPC555 using Metrowerks Codewarrior.I want to
work with TPU emulation mode.Can some one tell me the procedure to load
the custom code to DPTRAM and use it in emulation mode.I have TPUMASM
available with me but I am unable to make it out how to procedd
further.If someone have any code pertaining to this please kindly help
me...I am a beginner...

Lastly i have one more query...if i set emu bit in
tpumcr but donot download the code into dptram will
mpc555 use default maskset..?
