I'm sure it works fine, but given the way the MC33394 suddenly disappeared,
the phrase "once burned, twice shy" springs to mind. I don't see any reason
to prefer using this chip to simple, seperate regulators (except perhaps if
you need low power modes). Check with your suppliers before betting your
production runs on it.
