SCCR[RTDIV] provides div 4 and div 256 settings.

Well I use the MPC565 and I have never used the RTC, but just reading 
the short section entitled "6.14.4.5 Real-Time Clock Status and Control 
Register" in the 565 user manual, it would seem to be bit 11 of the 
RTCSC that selects between either the 4MHz (divide by 15625) or 20MHz 
(divide by  78125) source.

I presume the 555 will be the same ?
