Tom, Remember "PowerPC Programming for Intel Programmers" by McClanahan? ISBN 1-56884-306-2. In my opinion the best of the books from 10 years ago, and a revised and expanded edition would have a new market in '05 with the xbox360 and STI PlayStation. lots of examples of code and optimization techniques including cache operations. < $10 at alibris:http://www.alibris.com/search/search.cfm?qwork=5270782&matches=1&qsort=r -Jay --- [email protected] wrote: > Only one that comes to mind is a long since out of > publication book: > > G.Kacmarcik, Optimizing PowerPC Code: Programming > the PowerPC Chip in > Assembly Language, Addison-Wesley, 1995.
