Remember "PowerPC Programming for Intel Programmers"
by McClanahan?  ISBN 1-56884-306-2.  In my opinion the
best of the books from 10 years ago, and a revised and
expanded edition would have a new market in '05 with
the xbox360 and STI PlayStation.  lots of examples of
code and optimization techniques including cache
operations. < $10 at
