The trace code will be in one of 2 formats depending on when it was
manufactured and which final test site is used in Malaysia:
Old Trace Code Marking: UQWJ0412
New Trace Code Marking: UQXXWJ0412
where U=Wafer Fab, Q=Assembly, XX=Test Site, WJ=Wafer Lot
MZ is the test site code for KTM Test.
Q is the test site code for KLM Test.
(E is the designator for Austin Texas test)
The wafer lot code WJ is just a letter sequence that identifies the
wafer lot within the build week. for example, UQQAA0701 would indicate
that it was the first wafer lot assembled (AA) in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
(Q) during the first work week of 2007 and was tested in the assembly
site (Q) - instead of the alternate Malaysia test facility.
the U wafer fab is in Phoenix (Chandler) Arizona.

Is there a Colossus type decoding machine for this kind of information,
or is this secret? ;-)
