Openbrick NG and USB 2 external hard disk

Hi all

I ordered my Openbrick NG without a hard disk, mistakenly thinking
I could drop a 2.5" internal drive into it. Jean-Paul has since advised
that an external one will be better due to heat issues.

Question: will this USB 2 drive here do the job

and will it allow me to boot as a primary drive to a Redhat install?
