You novatech disk should work in theory if it is based on usb-storage

If you use our umibuilder tool, you can install Mandrake on a primary 
USB disk by doing

./umibuilder -ba -w openbrick-ng bare

Make sure your ready the doc before since it could destroy your "other" 
hard disk.
