Hi, OpenBrick NG is the result of a long term collaboration between Nexedi and Nagasaki (Taiwan) which started in 2002 and was based on the input of the OpenBrick community: http://www.openbrick.org/wiki/ng/FrontPage So, Nagasaki is an OEM/ODM for Nexed. Nexedi is also a Nagasaki distributor in Europe. Storever, a Nexedi business unit, concentrates on providing access to OpenBrick NG hardware mostly in Europe without the burden of hardware import from Taiwan. (we are the ones who get fined by the customs from time to time) Based on OpenBrick Community input, Nexedi has developped for the OpenBrick line a set of GPL software which allows for automatic production of embedded Linux distributions: umigumi http://www.umigumi.org Umigumi is used to produce custom applications based on OpenBrick NG: IP TV broadcast, IPradio player, H323 VPN, etc. JPS. -- Jean-Paul Smets-Solanes, Nexedi CEO - Tel. +33(0)6 62 05 76 14 Nexedi: Consulting and Development of Libre / Open Source Software http://www.nexedi.com ERP5: Libre/ Open Source ERP Software for small and medium companies http://www.erp5.org Rentalinux: Desktop Linux Server http://www.rentalinux.com
