Hi

Can someone help with audio on OpenBrick?

First I tried just sndconfig but it end up saying that I need to set
PNP in the BIOS to 'no', which it already is.

At http://externe.net/leaf-bering/ it says it should be a
SoundBlaster16 compatible, then I tried:
  modprobe sb io=0x220 irq=5 dma=1 dma16=5 mpu_io=0x330
but here the system hangs (reboot?).
The parameters is what is specified in BIOS.

During boot from BIOS (before bootloader) I got:
Vend Dev Clas Device Class IRQ
 1078 0103 0401 Multimedia Device NA
Why is there no IRQ assigned to multimedia? It says 'NA'.

When booted, I tried a:
  cat /proc/pci
...
  Bus 0, device 18, function 3:
Multimedia audio controller: Cyrix Corporation 5530 Audio [Kahlua] (rev 0).
      Non-prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0x40011000 [0x4001107f].
...
It looks wrong to me. There should be a IRQ for multimedia here.

According to the manual it should be an ac97 audio-chip. I tried that
also with no luck.

My IRQ list now, cat /proc/interrupts
           CPU0
  0: 98242 XT-PIC timer
  1: 2 XT-PIC keyboard
  2: 0 XT-PIC cascade
  8: 1 XT-PIC rtc
 10: 2378 XT-PIC eth0
 11: 40 XT-PIC usb-ohci
 14: 26146 XT-PIC ide0
NMI: 0
LOC: 0
ERR: 0
MIS: 0

Is the audio suppose to work with no IRQ?
How is your setup?

best regards/hans
