Probably not. But I'm rather OCD, and I tend to always update to the version of software unless there is a compelling reason not to. I'm naive enough to think the latest version will have new features, bug fixes, and other improvements. Also, my experience is that the farther you fall behind in compiler versions (any compiler), when you are forced to upgrade the pain is multiplied. In any case, for this problem I have narrowed the offending library to BOOTP.LIB. There are lots of changes, and if I copy the 10.70 version to 10.72, DHCP starts working.
