Re: Rabbit 2000 and Dynamic C 10

I have similar problems. I have an RCM4000 base and 2 PCs both running 
Windows 7. However one has an RS232 port and it does communicate (quite 
reliably - at the moment) while the other PC only has a USB-RS232 
adaptor and doesn't communicate at all.
Currently I have develop on one machine, run out to the other and 
download it and test and then return to the first machine for further 
program development.

I also find the programming cables very annoying and weak and find it 
doesn't take very long before the connections become dodgy and I have to 
swap to another cable. Compounded by the fact that you plug it in to 
program and debug then unplug it to do some live testing and the 
re-plug...... It would have been better to have left the connector on 
the `blue lump' end exposed so that you unplug at the end -  bigger 
pins, a bit more robust and you could change to an adaptor without the 
`programming mode' part on it 9or add a switch to disable it).

I find the lack of support for legacy and the apparent lack of 
consideration for developers along with the really poor communications 
support very disappointing.
