Re: Rabbit 2000 and Dynamic C 10

On the other side, I too have a W7 64bit machine, and have no trouble 
whatsoever communicating to RCM3000 based boards in both DC733 and 
DC962.  I use both rabbit USB serial cables, and straight thru db9.  For 
giggles, I did purchase a cheapo 2 port rs232 card with db9s on it that 
slips into a pci slot.  That gives me "standard" com ports for other 
products (and seems to work find in various terminal packages.)

In DC, I did find that disabling baud negotiation and processor 
verification speeds things up.  But, I'm sure it's a YMMV regarding comm 
stuff.

If you're really unlucky and desperate for options, you could fire up 
the virtual PC stuff and run an XP session inside.  Might give you more 
happiness (I had to with an old PromICE I have.)
