How do I assign a machine name to my HD-1000

Hello,

I've been able to assign a static IP address using the technique 
described here:

What files can I edit on my Roku HD-1000 to assign a name to the machine?

This would be useful to an audit of the machines on my subnet and also 
allow me to telnet by machine name.
