Re: External Drive for HD1000?

The only "reasonably priced" NAS I have managed to make work with video is
the Buffalo linkstation 120. It has the capability of allowing you to plug
in a USB2.0 drive for expansion. You need to insure the NAS appears as a
share without additional software (this eliminates several). The USB drive
is fast enough for SD video, but not HD content. The base unit works fine
for HD content. I also have a Tritton tri-120 NAS, works fine for audio and
pictures, but is too slow for video
