Thanks, Derek.

That is the confirmation I wanted.  You know how it is when you THINK you 
understand something will work and then it doesn't.   Now I have to decide 
if I want to take my Ximeta off the network and make it a backup for the 
Linkstation or purchase another USB drive.

I think I'll call tech support and see if you can upgrade the drives in the 
Linkstation too.
