//If I remove all the art packs from my network share, and put
//them on a CF
//memory will I be able to view more than 4? I have a 1Gig CF
//card and it
//obviously has lots of room.

Not unless you put either the pictures or the music (or both) in a hidden
directory (and edit the art packs themselves accordingly). Another option is to
spread the art packs across multiple shares.

//You said something about a telnet edit to eliminate Lori.
//Could you be more
//specific?

Telnet to your hd1000 and remove or edit (with vi) the files
/etc/rokucascade/settings/deschutes-artpack-settings and
/etc/rokucascade/settings/deschutes-artpack-settings.bak

Removing the files will be the easiest thing to do. But of course you'll lose
the settings for your other art packs as well.
