I have released an update to the WeatherSix application. This version contains the following changes and it can be found at http://home.earthlink.net/~weathersix/ -BJ Johns [email protected] ***************************************************** Version 1.0.1 - 06/14/04 - An activity indicator was added to the "Please Wait" window to alert the user that some background processing is occurring. This looks like a progress bar but it doesn't actually indicate percent complete. It is simply used to give the user something to look at while waiting. - Corrected the display of the current day's forecast. It will now correctly show the overnight forecast starting in the late afternoon. In the morning it will show the day's forecasted condition as well as both the forecasted high and low temperatures for the day. - Added a refresh timer, initially set to 10 minutes, which will refresh the currently displayed radar image. This will be configurable in a later release. When the image is automacailly refreshed this way, the screen saver will be fooled into thinking that there is some screen activity before the screen is refreshed so that the updated image can be displayed. - Resized the 'WeatherSix.roku' icon to the correct dimensions so that it will be displayed on the main Roku screen. - The background on the radar image screen is now formed using a much smaller tiled image. This was done to try to free up more available memory. - Updated the web site's 'Setup' page to add information on the creation of a swap file. Also added a 'Links' page.
