The HD1K will play music directly. Simply share the directory that has your music collection. You can then use the HD1K to select and play audio. The are ways to do the same thing using the CinemaSix applications to play video files directly from a file share or via stream via VLC. -----Original Message----- From: Brent Berry [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, July 02, 2004 11:01 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Roku-tech] Song Selection from PC rather than HD1K Would really like to pass streamed music to my sound system via HD1K. I use musicmatch alog and am wondering of there is a way to direct the audio from it to ethernet socket in a way that HD1K will pass it through to sound system. Same question about Video as well, only likely talking about Windows Media Player then.
