I saw this with a lot of different USB sticks too - not sure what it is
about certain sticks that the BIOS doesn't seem to like, but some models
work and some don't. Seems to be model-specific. The OS saw all of the
sticks OK once booted, so its a BIOS-specific issue too.

We settled on 4GB SanDisk Cruzer Fit drives which consistently worked
with the BIOS on every net6501 we have (40+ of them).
