My experience says yes - I can't afford the time to try it again and see 
whether it was a one off, or whether it is solved with 2.2.1 instead of 
2.2.0. As 2.1.5 "works" I will stick with it for as long as possible.

Kind of thought the attitude will be that the problem is upstream in 
FreeBSD and can't be solved by the pfsense team, might be wrong, 
however, as I said above - I don't have the time to assist in 
troubleshooting the issue.
