It's finally finished and the disk image is available for download from https://montezuma.retrohome.info/. It requires a CoCo 3 with at least 512K. This was a serious work of passion that started with reverse-engineering the C64 game resulting in heavily commented 6502 Assembly source at first, then the long journey of reproducing it on the CoCo. My goal was to reproduce the behavior of the C64 game as closely as possible. This means that the CoCo game can get as unforgiving and frustrating at times as the original game. Ladders are easier to mount from the right side than the left. Some jumps you have to be hanging a few pixels off the edge to make. My one deviation was I added a high score board where you can immortalize your name (saves to the disk). Enjoy the game, and throw me any feedback (positive or negative) and bugs you find! =F0=9F=99=82 ----- Lee --0000000000005af40c065813e7fb Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr"><div>I've been working on a port of the classic 1984 C= ommodore 64 game Montezuma's Revenge for the CoCo 3.=C2=A0 It's fin= ally finished and the disk image is available for download from=C2=A0<a hre= f=3D"https://montezuma.retrohome.info/" target=3D"_blank">https://montezuma= .retrohome.info/</a>.=C2=A0 It requires a CoCo 3 with at least 512K.</div><= div><br></div><div>This was a serious=C2=A0work of passion that started wit= h reverse-engineering the C64 game resulting in heavily commented 6502 Asse= mbly source at first, then the long journey of reproducing it on the CoCo.= =C2=A0 My goal was to reproduce the behavior of the C64 game as closely as = possible.
