I have had NO problems with this. I added an 80 Gig harddrive from an enclosure kit and transfered all of my music there... got AT to search the drive and I've been in business for several months now. Power failures (we get regular small service interruptions during storms) have happened and the unit powered back up and presented the drive. I love not having to worry about someone working on the PC and causing a problem with the song playing.
