Re: Is WMP 10 support coming?

If you are talking the lossless WMP, we never received that firmware, but
the latest firmware can support anything below that I believe.  I think
they said the CPU could not handle the lossless WMP.

Before you start re-ripping, think about it.  You have been trapped once by
a  codec.  Consider a lossless codec and some transcoding scripts.  I
personally use flac, and transcode to the MP3 level I want, but my scripts
could easily support any command line codec.

Before re-ripping, encode the same piece at 192, 256, 320, and try the
variable bit rate encoding, and then A/B compare them to the original cd
until you find a bit rate that sounds pretty much the same.

Do you have a good DAC?  If not, may want to get one, the analog outputs on
the Audiotron tend to be a little muted.  I use a DAC in a Box that I
picked up for $50, but there are several good DAC's out there.
