From the Turtle Beach Audiotron FAQ:

"Windows Media Player 10 and WMA / VBR: Windows Media Player 10 and WMA
/ VBR:  Files ripped with WMP10 at 135 to 215 no longer work, but 85 to
145 and lower do still work. Please also make sure copy protection is
turned off in WMP10. "

Files I ripped with WMP 9 VBR 135-215 kbps work fine, and WMP 10 files
ripped at CBR 192 kbps also work fine, but not WMP 10 VBR 135-215 kbps. 

I'm not referring to the lossless WMP 10 encoding, which I'll bet
generates pretty large files.

I use a good DAC in my Mondial Acurus ACT-3 processor and the sound is
fine and frankly, is nearly equal to the original CD source.

If you are talking the lossless WMP, we never received that firmware,
but
the latest firmware can support anything below that I believe.  I think
they said the CPU could not handle the lossless WMP.

Before you start re-ripping, think about it.  You have been trapped once
by
a  codec.  Consider a lossless codec and some transcoding scripts.  I
personally use flac, and transcode to the MP3 level I want, but my
scripts
could easily support any command line codec.

Before re-ripping, encode the same piece at 192, 256, 320, and try the
variable bit rate encoding, and then A/B compare them to the original cd
until you find a bit rate that sounds pretty much the same.

Do you have a good DAC?  If not, may want to get one, the analog outputs
on
the Audiotron tend to be a little muted.  I use a DAC in a Box that I
picked up for $50, but there are several good DAC's out there.
