I've got an audiotron that will fail to boot. I hooked up a serial port to see what was going on and got the bsquare boot loader screen. I did an xmodem flash file update and then when trying to boot from the flash I get the checksum error message. Calculated checksum D03ffb2b read checksum 08a8f13c Compressed check failure. is 065103bb should be 3d4b2bec Here's what I've done. I reloaded the bsquare boot image (First 64K of the flash file.) I thought that there might be a bad firmware image of the bsquare loader. I then tried the xmodem serial port update method and that always ends without any error messages. When I then try to boot the firmware, I get the checksum error messages. Does this mean that there might be some faulty flash ram chips on this box? Thanks for any help! Jay
