Call for Participation: Workshop on Interaction Design Education in the Age of GenAI @ NordiCHI 2026

Are you teaching interaction design, HCI, or related design courses and thinking about how generative AI is changing education?

Together with colleagues across the Nordic HCI community, we are organizing a half-day workshop at NordiCHI 2026 in Vaasa, Finland:

Keeping Up: IxD Education in the Age of GenAI
Sunday, 4 October 2026, 9:30–13:00

The workshop will bring together educators, researchers, and practitioners to share experiences, challenges, experiments, and open questions around GenAI in interaction design education.

We are currently inviting short position statements of around 300 words. The format is intentionally light: tell us about your background, your teaching context, and one or two experiences or reflections related to AI in education.
