Workshop Announcement – Leveraging Behavioral Models in Human-Autonomy Teams (BEMHAT): From Theory to Applied Socio-Technical Systems
September 27, 2026, 1:00–5:30 PM @ Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
We are pleased to announce the BEMHAT workshop, Leveraging Behavioral Models in Human-Autonomy Teams: From Theory to Applied Socio-Technical Systems.
The workshop brings together researchers working on behavioral modeling and human-autonomy teams, with a focus on connecting theoretical approaches to applied socio-technical systems. We welcome work addressing:

Modeling dynamic and individualized human behavior in human-autonomy teams
  *
Leveraging behavioral models for planning, adaptation, and interactive decision-making
  *
Power, agency, ethics, and societal responsibility in socio-technical systems
  *
Applications in autonomous driving, manufacturing, rehabilitation, and social robotics

The workshop will feature invited talks, a poster session, spotlight talks, and a panel discussion, providing opportunities for researchers to share ongoing work and discuss emerging directions in behavioral modeling for human-autonomy teams.
