CALL FOR PAPERS
HCIEd 2007 is the annual international conference of Human-Computer
Interaction Educators from both industry and academia. This year the
conference focuses

on the theme of 'Creativity3: Experiencing to educate and design'.

HCIEd 2007 welcomes original contributions, from the following areas:
.:. Education, research and training methods that encourage creativity
for novel interfaces
.:. HCI education theories, methods and practices that encourage
creative problem resolution
.:. Principle-based interaction design solutions
.:. Techniques, methods and environments for fostering creativity
.:. Individual and collaborative practices for enhancing creativity
.:. Creativity in the design process
.:. Innovations in the conception, development and evaluation of
interactive systems
.:. Innovations in interactivity & experience
.:. Case studies on encouraging creativity in the design process,
artefacts, and everyday things
.:. Transdisciplinary methods and models that encourage or facilitate creativity

Long Papers
Papers should present studies that contribute to our understanding of
HCI education as an engaging experience, critical and reflective
approaches to the design of interactive technology, research on how to
approach the conception, development and evaluation of innovative as
well as mundane artefacts.. (up to 8 pages)

Submission deadline: 5th January 2007

Short Papers/Posters
Short papers and posters can be based on case studies or reports of
best practices showing the process by which creative design can be
encouraged and experienced by HCI students. Also, these may report
small experiments or techniques in a concise format.(up to 4 pages)
