New Book: Human-Engaged Computing (HEC) on AI & Human-Technology Relations

I am pleased to share that our book, *Human-Engaged Computing*, will be
published by Chapman and Hall/CRC Press / Taylor & Francis on May 12, 2026.

This book reconsiders the relationship between humans and technology in the
age of AI, and explores how technology may engage not only human intellect,
but also deeper dimensions of the human =E5=BF=83/Xin/Kokoro. From the pers=

of Human-Engaged Computing (HEC), it offers a new view on the future
direction of truly human-centered technology.
